What does RiskJockey cost?

Convenience fees start at $25 for accident/incident reports and $50 for videos. Please see FEES tab for more information.

Can I try RiskJockey for free?

Absolutely! Simply make a request and you will have the option to establish an account when records are located.

How will I know when records are available?

You will receive an email.

How do I pay for records?

When records are available you will be prompted to establish an account and provide a credit card that will be charged according to the fee schedule below.

What if I cannot pay by credit card?

Commercial insurance carriers are eligible for monthly invoicing. You will be prompted about eligibility when payment is requested.

Will I be provided receipts for my purchases?

Yes. Receipts can be provided for each charge, so fees can be attributed to the correct claim or file.

Can RiskJockey be integrated with law firm practice management software or insurance claims software?

Yes. Please email admin@riskjockey.com with the name of your software in the subject line and your representative's email.

    ($50 min. fee for video, $25 min. fee for audio and photographs)

    There is value in determining which evidence does not exist and it takes time and effort to do so. As such, a fee of $10 per item will be charged for all records we determine do not exist. We also hope this will discourage users from ordering excessive records on minor incidents.
  • Agency Fees*

    Some agencies require advance payments before records are released. We require a pre-authorization of $100 per request, so we can pay these fees on your behalf.

  • Investigative Services
  • RiskJockey is owned by private detectives who can coordinate nationwide assistance.

    $150/hr (plus mileage & expenses)

*Law enforcement agencies often charge fees to locate records, and they are added to convenience fees.
We have no control over agency fees, but we make sure they are in line with local statutes.
